What’s been the most rewarding part of being a female entrepreneur running your own small business?

The most rewarding part of being a female entrepreneur running my own small business has been twofold. First, I’ve transformed my passion for creativity and sharing the art process into a thriving business—a challenging yet deeply fulfilling balance between being an artist and a business owner. Second, as a single parent to two boys, it’s deeply fulfilling to know I’m supporting my family while setting a powerful example for my children. I’m showing them not only what’s possible but also the dedication and hard work it takes to succeed as a creative entrepreneur.

If you could give one piece of advice to other women entrepreneurs considering taking the leap and chasing their dreams?

If I could give one piece of advice to women entrepreneurs considering taking the leap, it would be this: never stop learning, and focus on planting seeds every single day. I know that’s two, but they’re both very important. Think of your business as a garden—it takes time, patience, and consistency to see it grow. Even small steps make a difference, like reaching out for a collaboration, learning a new tool, or listening to an industry podcast. Progress doesn’t always happen overnight, but every seed you plant builds momentum. As a creative business coach alongside running my art brand, this is the advice I always emphasize—stay consistent, keep growing, and trust the process.

What does shopping small mean to you?

Shopping small, to me, is about fostering creativity and helping it thrive in a world that needs it more than ever. Every idea, every product, every small brand is rooted in creativity, which is something I deeply value. But it’s more than that—it’s about supporting families, traditions, and meaningful rituals. Small business owners pour their heart and soul into everything they create, and that passion is felt in every product. It adds a special significance to the entire experience—for the giver, the recipient, and the creator—making it so much more than just a purchase. It’s a connection.

What do you hope people feel or experience when they use your products?

When people use my products, I hope they feel a sense of connection, creativity, and purpose. Each item is crafted with heart and soul, and my goal is for that energy to be felt in every experience—whether it’s a moment of self-care, a creative breakthrough, or sharing a meaningful activity with loved ones. I want my products to inspire joy, spark imagination, and create lasting memories. More than just tools for art, they’re designed to foster connection—with yourself, with others, and with the beauty of creativity itself.

What’s one thing you want customers to know about your business, products, or mission?

I want customers to know that my business is built on a deep passion for creativity and connection. My mission is to make creativity accessible and empowering, offering tools that not only spark joy but also bring a sense of calm, purpose, and connection to your life.

Anything else you’d like to highlight?

In 2025, I’m launching an online meditative art space where we can create, connect, and support one another. Community is so important for growth and staying inspired. This space will be all about discovering joy, sharing fresh ideas, and building a sense of belonging as we grow together.

As we celebrate Small Business Saturday, we are reminded of the power of supporting entrepreneurs like Rebecca, who pour their heart and soul into every product they create. By choosing to shop small, you are not only bringing unique, meaningful items into your life but also helping dreams grow and communities thrive. Thank you for being a part of this journey with us.
